Would you believe us if we told you this couples session took place less than an hour from Los Angeles? The Angeles National Forest is full of life year round and perfect for nature lovers - from wildflower fields in the spring to swimming in rivers through the summer and scenic snow days in the winter.
Lauren + Beyond joined us for a snow day at Mt. Baldy in the Angeles National Forest and the day definitely did not disappoint. Heading up the mountain before sunrise we were greeted by below freezing temperatures and wind so all of us were eager for the sun to rise (definitely bring plenty of hand/feet/body warmers). We watched the sun rise while waiting for the ski lifts to open and as soon as we got in line the temperatures began to rise and the wind died down - we were all so thankful and excited for the day ahead!
The scenic chair lift ride to the top of the mountain was absolutely beautiful and something none of us will ever forget. A snow storm had passed through the night before that completely covered the landscape and we were lucky enough to have the lifts to ourselves - such a peaceful and serene experience. Once at the top of the Mt. Baldy we celebrated with drinks and explored the surrounding area. We had such a great time exploring the the snowy mountains of the Angeles National Forest, the perfect Southern California Scenic Snow Day!
